Jan is Rugby League’s first Springbok and South African League Sports Association’s Legend, heralded in SA League’s Hall of Fame.
His rugby career spans more than 60 years as player, administrator and as Vice President of SA Rugby League.

Jan was also a Green and Gold SA 100 m athlete at the 2013 World Masters Championships in Port Alegre, Brazil.
